Friends I just received this email from - Fauzi Rahman (ex UMNO now PKR) - one of our friends working on Bagan Pinang. Maybe it might give you an idea of what they go through in their battle against the might and money of UMNO.
“We r doing our best within the limited resources that we have. UMNO has the 3 big Ms. Money, almost unlimited; Media, the print media, electronic media and the interpersonal depts such as Jabatan Penerangan n what else; Machinery such as Election Comm., Police, AGs dept., Judiciary, ACA etc. All govt (raayat's) mcnery are been enslaved. We r all busy in our own way n lucky only to have d majority of d raayat wth us. Baharin n gang r busy helping out PAS at Bagan Pinang. I m in KL scheduled to meet young M'sians n uni students at 2.00pm. Will be in Bentong at 4.30 to meet orang2 kampong. All these at our own time and cost. U r doing a good job, just keep it up. Niatkan untuk membantu yang teraniaya, insyaallah, God will be kind to u. When u r back, do visit us in Kuantan. Salam n all d best!”
